Bootstrap Released!

After the obnoxiously-long delay, the movie is finally released.

We have our own reasons for the delay. Lab exams, Aagneya... you name it! Yet, we surmounted them all, and found time to release the movie!

The Genesis

It all happened on 12th December 2008. The hour was 'Microprocessors and Interfacing'. Azaruddeen and I were impatiently waiting for the class to be over. Azar was the movie guy. A hardcore fan of Mammootty, he was very much into movie-making. In fact, we had partly written a script and were about to begin shooting, but our dreams, sadly, didn't materialize. It was the last hour of the term, and we both were depressed. Our movie was still at crossroads...

Suddenly I had a brainwave. I asked Azar.
"Dude, why don't we make a movie now?"

Azar was stupefied.
"Duh! Now? You mean, today? But how? We don't even have a story!"
Me: "Dude, we'll make one now. See, we've an assignment to be submitted today. We'll weave a story out of it. What say?"
Azar: "But, but how're we goanna shoot it? Do we have a cam?"
Me: "No worries, man! I've Sreehari's camera with me! We'll make the movie!"
Azar: "That's the spirit, buddy! We'll start now!"

By the time the hour got over, we'd made our story. Everything was ready. We informed everyone about the movie. After a lot of coaxing and cajoling, the 'actors' said yes. Thus began the saga.

Now, even despite the exams, a major chunk of the post-production is done. We're expecting the release on February 1, 2008. Watch this space to see the movie!
